My new home made APT Antenna

This is my new home made APT antenna, which is a cross dipole circular polarization antenna with reflectors. Works for receiving NOAA APT transmissions at 136 MHz

3 days to build and actually the most difficult thing was to gather all the components for the antenna. From the aluminium rods to aluminium boom, the plastic waterproof boxes etc!

the cross dipole

reflectors + spacers

Lower dipole with phasing harness(RG-59)and PL connection

Upper dipole with phasing harness(RG-59)going to the lower dipole via an inner hole to the boxes

the antenna

cross dipole finished RG-58 connected
