DSTAR Hotspot Limassol - Cyprus

Hello all!!!



The SV1JRF B Dstar Hotspot is under test now in Athens-Greece. Everything is going as expected! Soon it will be installed in Limassol. This way Limassol will be the first city in Cyprus that will have DSTAR local access capabilities directly to Greece REF045 and all over the world. More updates soon. The hotspot will be operating in 70cm band.

DVRPTR v1 - Repeater Interface Cable Schematic

If you want to create a duplex repeater using the DVRPTR v1 ,you must construct a cable and also you will have to use two transceivers. The cable diagram is shown bellow. You will need 3x6pin mini din male connectors and 2m of ethernet cable cat 5. Of course from the cable you will only use 4 wires from 8.
