Hi all, in this article i will be explainning how to connect your Yaesu FT-1907(uhf) or Yaesu FT-1900(vhf) to an mmdvm board. Actually this very transceiver was used as an echolink node for approx 2 years 24/7 with no issues at all, even though the transceiver was located in a hot and humid room during the summer that the air temp was reaching 37C! Current format as a multimode controller as of December 2017

Problem solved On the TM- D 710, the default output level on the PR1 pin is very low in EchoLink mode. Kenwood advises that it can be adjusted using the MCP-2A programming software, which is available free of charge from the Software Downloads page of the Support section of the Kenwood Web site. In the Data Terminal Adjustment section, increase the PR1 Output Level (EchoLink Mode) from 3 to a higher value such as 6 or 7. Note that this adjustment does not work correctly in version 3.01 of the MCP-2A software, but it should work in earlier and later versions.
